Major: Food Science with a minor in German

Rachel will receive her bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2011, but she has already accomplished quite a bit. She recently traveled to Coca-Cola Headquarters to and present a demonstration for two beverages she created: A guava lime juice drink and a diet cranberry cherry sparkling water. At Purdue, Rachel serves as a food science envoy, representing the Purdue Food Science Department by giving tours to prospective students and industry professionals. She also participate in the Food Science Club. Rachel is passionate about her studies and looks forward to developing future products and applying her technical training to solve real world problems in the food industry.
