While earning his undergraduate degree, Jeremy chose to forgo an internship and start his own business. He has gained a wealth of experience through operating The California Bee Company, LLC for the last two years. Jeremy has gained a wealth of experience while creating a valuable business that assists in mitigating the nationwide honeybee shortage. After completing his master's degree, Jeremy plans to pursue a doctorate degree and continue his career as an entrepreneur in the areas of agriculture and food processing.

"This scholarship is much appreciated, because it will allow me to spend less time and effort paying my tuition during my final quarter of classes at Cal Poly. Rather, I will be able to put more quality time into work on my research examining the safety concerns of ozonated water use for sanitation food and bottling lines."
